Alabama High School Softball - Berry sneaks past Pickens Academy
March 25, 2025: Carrollton, AL 35447 In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Berry Wildcats softball team scored a tight 6-5 win over the Pickens Academy Pirates.
The Wildcats (7-7) will now prepare for their match against Lamar County (Vernon, AL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 4-11 record. In their last match, Lamar County nipped Pickens Academy (Carrollton, AL), 11-6, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Pirates confront the South Lamar Stallions (Millport, AL) in a 1A Area 9 match, on Monday, March 31. Pickens Academy will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Stallions come into the match with a 8-5 record after their 12-11 non-league loss to Hubbertville (Fayette, AL).
