Tennessee High School Softball - West Greene held off by Johnson County
March 25, 2025: Mosheim, TN 37818 In Tuesday's league test, the Johnson County Longhorns (Mountain City, TN) softball squad got by the host West Greene Buffaloes (Mosheim, TN), by a tally of 13-12.
Next, the Longhorns clash with the South Greene Rebels (Greeneville, TN) in a 2A District 1 test, on Thursday, March 27. Johnson County will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Rebels go into the test with a 2-1 record after their 16-5 league win over Happy Valley (Elizabethton, TN).
The Buffaloes (3-3) will now prepare for their test against North Greene (Greeneville, TN). The Huskies go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, North Greene was nudged by Unicoi County (Erwin, TN), 11-0, in a non-league test.
