The McMichael Phoenix softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Walkertown Wolfpack to 5 in the Phoenix league win on Tuesday.

The Phoenix now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Stokes for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 26. McMichael will confront a Sauras team coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Surry Central (Dobson, NC). The Sauras record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Walkertown moves to 8-2 on the season. The Wolfpack host Bethany Community (Summerfield, NC) to confront the Wolves in a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 26. The Wolves come into the battle with a record of 3-3. Bethany Community lost 13-7 in their recent non-league battle against Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC)
