In Tuesday's league test, the North Sand Mountain Bison (Higdon, AL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Section Lions (Section, AL), by a count of 19-1.

Next, the Bison meet the Pisgah Eagles (Pisgah, AL) in a 2A Area 15 test, on Thursday, March 27. North Sand Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 10-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over North Jackson (Stevenson, AL).

The Lions (0-10) will now prepare for their test against St. John Paul II (Huntsville, AL). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, St. John Paul II was routed by Randolph School (Huntsville, AL), 9-2, in a league test.
