Texas High School Softball - Vandegrift knocked off by Round Rock
March 25, 2025: Austin, TX 78730 The Round Rock Dragons overwhelmed the host Vandegrift Vipers softball squad by a count of 12-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Dragons meet the Vista Ridge Rangers (Cedar Park, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 25 challenge, on Friday, March 28. Round Rock will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Rangers go into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Hutto (Hutto, TX).
The Vipers (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against McNeil (Austin, TX). The Mavericks go into the 6A Region IV District 25 challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, McNeil was routed by Cedar Ridge (Round Rock, TX), 10-0, in a league challenge.
