In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Alamo Heights Mules (San Antonio, TX), by a tally of 16-10.

In their next game, the Knights confront the San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 29 contest, on Tuesday, March 31. Steele will attempt to move on its 9-10 season record. The Rattlers come into the contest with a 14-9 record after their 11-4 league win over Judson (Converse, TX).

The Mules now possess a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boerne for a 5A Region IV District 26 battle on Tuesday, March 31. Alamo Heights will face a Greyhounds team coming off a 12-6 league loss to Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 16-7.
