Lamar County Bulldogs (Vernon, AL) followers left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad nip the host Paul W. Bryant Stampede (Cottondale, AL), 4-3 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Lamar County moves its record to 9-6 on the season. The Bulldogs host Lynn (Lynn, AL) to battle the Bears in a non-league match on Friday, March 27. The Bears come into the match with a record of 11-4. Lynn won 14-4 in their recent non-league match against Winston County (Double Springs, AL)
