In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM) baseball team trounced the visiting Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), by a count of 11-1.

The Demons now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Espanola Valley for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 26. Santa Fe will clash with a Sundevils team coming off a 18-0 non-league win over Capitan (Capitan, NM). The Sundevils record now stands at 3-7.

The Hilltoppers (3-8) will now prepare for their bout against Taos (Taos, NM). The Tigers enter the 4A District 2 bout with a 3-8 record. In their last bout, Taos was overwhelmed by Aztec (Aztec, NM), 10-9, in a non-league bout.
