In Wednesday's league bout, the Lovejoy Wildcats (Lovejoy, GA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Morrow Mustangs (Morrow, GA), by a tally of 21-1.

Next up, the Wildcats encounter the Mundy's Mill Tigers (Jonesboro, GA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 26. Lovejoy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 1-16 record after their 13-1 non-league win over Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA).

With the defeat, Morrow drops to 2-12 on the year. The Mustangs host Northgate (Newnan, GA) to clash with the Vikings in a AAAAA Region 3 challenge on Friday, March 27. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 18-2. Northgate won 17-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Grayson (Loganville, GA)
