Maryland High School Softball - Chopticon bounces North Point
March 25, 2026: Morganza, MD 20660 The Chopticon Braves softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting North Point Eagles to 0 in the Braves league win on Wednesday.
The Braves now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leonardtown for a Southern Maryland battle on Thursday, March 26. Chopticon will confront a Ospreys squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Great Mills (Great Mills, MD). The Ospreys record now stands at 1-1.
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD). The Cougars enter the Southern Maryland challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Thomas Stone was routed by Northern (Owings, MD), 23-0, in a league challenge.
