Maryland High School Softball - Chopticon bounces St. Charles
April 8, 2026: Waldorf, MD 20602 The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) and the host St. Charles (Waldorf, MD), observed Chopticon's softball team notch a victory over St. Charles by a final score of 19-0.
The Braves (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against Great Mills (Great Mills, MD). The Hornets go into the Southern Maryland bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Great Mills was routed by La Plata (La Plata, MD), 12-2, in a league bout.
In their next game, the battle the Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD) in a Southern Maryland bout, on Friday, April 10. St. Charles will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 18-8 league win over Lackey (Indian Head, MD).
