In Wednesday's non-league test, the Macomb Bombers (Macomb, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting West Prairie Cyclones (Sciota, IL), by a count of 17-5.

Coming up next, the Bombers encounter the Astoria/VIT Rebels (Astoria, IL) in a Prairieland test, on Friday, March 27. Macomb will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Rebels go into the test with a 0-3 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Camp Point Central (Camp Point, IL).

The Cyclones (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Brimfield (Brimfield, IL). The Indians go into the Prairieland test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Brimfield was routed by Dunlap (Dunlap, IL), 12-0, in a non-league test.
