The Macomb Bombers softball squad (Macomb, IL), 11-9 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Illini West Chargers (Carthage, IL)

With the triumph, Illini West improves its record to 10-13 on the year. The Chargers travel to Quincy Notre Dame (Quincy, IL) to face the Raiders in a non-league contest on Friday, May 1. The Raiders enter the contest with a record of 12-8. Quincy Notre Dame won 4-2 in their recent league contest against Beardstown (Beardstown, IL)

The Bombers now have a 3-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Quincy Notre Dame for a non-league test on Monday, May 4. Macomb will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 15-4 non-league win over Illini West (Carthage, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 13-8.
