Florida High School Softball - Sickles edges Wiregrass Ranch

In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Sickles Gryphons softball team scored a tight 6-4 win over the Wiregrass Ranch Bulls.

The Gryphons (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Mitchell (New Port Richey, FL). The Mustangs enter the non-league game with a 9-5 record. In their last game, Mitchell edged Newsome (Lithia, FL), 5-1, in a non-league game.

The Bulls now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Wesley Chapel for a non-league game on Tuesday, April 7. Wiregrass Ranch will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 17-1 non-league win over Zephyrhills (Zephyrhills, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-6.
