Washington High School Softball - Colfax bounces Chewelah
March 26, 2022: Colfax, WA 99111 The crowd at Saturday's league match between the Colfax Bulldogs (Colfax, WA) and the visiting Chewelah Cougars (Chewelah, WA), saw Colfax's softball squad achieve victory over Chewelah by a count of 11-0.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Davenport for a 2B Bi-County match on Saturday, April 2. Colfax will face a Gorillas squad coming off a 22-14 non-league loss to Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna (Ritzville, WA). The Gorillas record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Chewelah falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Liberty (Spangle, WA) to face the Lancers in a 2B Bi-County match on Saturday, April 2. The Lancers enter the match with a record of 4-0. Liberty won 16-1 in their recent non-league match against Pomeroy (Pomeroy, WA)
