Texas High School Baseball - Anson loses to Stamford
March 26, 2024: Anson, TX 79501 In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Stamford Bulldogs baseball team scored a nice 10-1 victory over the Anson Tigers.
The Bulldogs (14-4) will now prepare for their game against Haskell (Haskell, TX). The Indians go into the 2A Region I District 8 game with a 1-9 record. In their last game, Haskell was overwhelmed by Albany (Albany, TX), 16-4, in a league game.
The Tigers (12-4) will now prepare for their game against Hawley (Hawley, TX). The Bearcats go into the 2A Region I District 8 game with a 12-7 record. In their last game, Hawley overcame Cisco (Cisco, TX), 10-7, in a league game.
