Louisiana High School Softball - Grant bounces Peabody
March 26, 2024: Dry Prong, LA 71423 Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Peabody Warhorses (Alexandria, LA), 22-0 in a league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 14-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Winnfield for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 28. Grant will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 16-9.
With the loss, Peabody falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Warhorses travel to Many (Many, LA) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 27. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 11-9. Many lost 16-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA)
