Louisiana High School Softball - Northlake Christian bounces Independence
March 26, 2024: Covington, LA 70433 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Northlake Christian Wolverines (Covington, LA) and the visiting Independence Tigers (Independence, LA), witnessed Northlake Christian's softball squad prevail over Independence by a count of 15-0.
The Wolverines now sport a 9-5 record. They play next when they host St. Thomas Aquinas for a 2A District 7 match on Wednesday, March 27. Northlake Christian will face a Falcons squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-12.
With the loss, Independence moves to 3-9 on the season. The Tigers travel to Mt. Hermon (Mt. Hermon, LA) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 27. The Yellowjackets go into the match with a record of 6-7. Mt. Hermon lost 20-0 in their recent league match against Holden (Holden, LA)
