In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Buchanan Bears (Clovis, CA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Liberty Patriots (Bakersfield, CA), by a tally of 13-6.

Next up, the Bears encounter the Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 29. Buchanan will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 10-2 record after their 10-1 league win over Wheatland (Wheatland, CA).
