The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) and the host Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA), observed Auburn's softball team notch a victory over Eastern Montgomery by a final score of 12-0.

The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA). The Bruins go into the non-league bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Blacksburg gained a win over Radford (Radford, VA), 16-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Craig County Rockets (New Castle, VA) in a Pioneer bout, on Tuesday, April 1. Eastern Montgomery will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 23-5 non-league win over Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA).
