Virginia High School Softball - J.I. Burton tipped by Union
March 26, 2025: Big Stone Gap, VA 24219 Union Bears (Big Stone Gap, VA) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting J.I. Burton Black Raiders (Norton, VA), 3-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Union upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Bears travel to Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA) to play the Titans in a non-league game on Friday, March 28. The Titans enter the game with a record of 1-1. Twin Springs won 5-3 in their recent non-league game against Lee (Jonesville, VA)
The Black Raiders now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lee for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 2.
