North Carolina High School Softball - Northwest Cabarrus sneaks past Lake Norman Charter

March 26, 2025: Concord, NC 28027

The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans softball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Lake Norman Charter Knights to 1 in the Trojans league win on Wednesday.

The Trojans now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Cabarrus for a South Piedmont 3A battle on Friday, March 28. Northwest Cabarrus will confront a Vikings team coming off a 10-4 league win over Concord (Concord, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Lake Norman Charter moves to 2-6 on the season. The Knights travel to Carson (China Grove, NC) to confront the Cougars in a South Piedmont 3A battle on Friday, March 28. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 2-7. Carson lost 20-8 in their recent non-league battle against Butler (Matthews, NC)
