First Flight Nighthawks (Outer Banks, NC) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the visiting Swansboro Pirates (Swansboro, NC), 13-8 in a league game.

With the victory, First Flight improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to West Carteret (Morehead City, NC) to play the Patriots in a Conference 1 game on Monday, March 30. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. West Carteret won 15-10 in their recent league challenge against New Bern (New Bern, NC)

With the defeat, Swansboro drops to 6-3 on the season. The Pirates travel to Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC) to play the Monarchs in a Conference 1 game on Wednesday, April 8.
