Alameda Hornets (Alameda, CA) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Foothill Falcons (Pleasanton, CA), 11-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Alameda upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Hornets travel to Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA) to play the Broncos in a non-league match on Monday, March 30. The Broncos come into the match with a record of 4-5. Northgate won 19-3 in their recent non-league match against Mt. Diablo (Concord, CA)

In their next game, the Falcons confront the Amador Valley Dons (Pleasanton, CA) in a East Bay match, on Tuesday, March 31. Foothill will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Dons come into the match with a 4-5 record after their 11-7 league loss to Granada (Livermore, CA).
