The Apex Friendship Patriots softball squad (Apex, NC), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC)

With the triumph, Willow Spring improves its record to 12-1 on the year. The Storm host Jordan (Durham, NC) to face the Falcons in a Quad City Seven 8A contest on Tuesday, April 7. The Falcons enter the contest with a record of 6-2. Jordan won 11-1 in their recent non-league bout against Durham Academy (Durham, NC)

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC) in a Quad City Seven 8A bout, on Tuesday, April 7. Apex Friendship will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Catamounts go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 5-4 league win over Apex (Apex, NC).
