Virginia High School Softball - Broadway bounces Wilson Memorial
March 27, 2023: Broadway, VA 22815 Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Gobblers now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Skyline for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 30. Broadway will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 14-13 league loss to James Wood (Winchester, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Wilson Memorial falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Green hornets host Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA) to battle the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 4-0. Turner Ashby won 11-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA)
