Hamilton Big Blue (Hamilton, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Middletown Middies (Middletown, OH), 12-2 in a league challenge.

The Big Blue now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seton for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 28. Hamilton will battle a Saints squad coming off a 7-3 non-league win over Badin (Hamilton, OH). The Saints record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Middletown falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Middies host Bishop Fenwick (Franklin, OH) to battle the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 28.
