Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Watertown Purple Tigers (Watertown, TN) and the host Upperman Bees (Baxter, TN), witnessed Watertown's softball squad prevail over Upperman by a count of 17-6.

The Purple Tigers now sport a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Cannon County for a 2A District 6 match on Thursday, March 30. Watertown will meet a Lions squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Cascade (Wartrace, TN). The Lions record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Upperman moves to 3-2 on the season. The Bees host Portland (Portland, TN) to meet the Panthers in a non-league match on Friday, March 31. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 1-3.
