Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Stockdale Mustangs (Bakersfield, CA) and the host Central Grizzlies (Fresno, CA), saw Stockdale's baseball squad knock off Central by a count of 4-1.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Independence Falcons (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 2. Stockdale will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 11-5 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Mt. Whitney (Visalia, CA).

The Grizzlies now possess a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clovis West for a Tri-River battle on Tuesday, April 9.
