Mississippi High School Softball - Riverside bounces Charleston
March 27, 2024: Charleston, MS 38921 The Riverside Bulldogs routed the host Charleston Tigers softball squad by a final score of 12-0 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Bulldogs (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Leflore County (Itta Bena, MS). The Tigers go into the 2A Region 3 battle with a 2-5 record.
The Tigers now possess a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Rosa Fort for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 28. Charleston will meet a Lions squad coming off a 30-16 non-league win over Greenwood (Greenwood, MS). The Lions record now stands at 2-4.
