Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA), 20-10 in a league game.

With the victory, Effingham County improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Rebels host Hilton Head Island (Hilton Head Island, SC) to play the Seahawks in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 1. The Seahawks come into the game with a record of 9-2. Hilton Head Island won 14-10 in their recent non-league game against Philip Simmons (Charleston, SC)

The Mustangs now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bluffton for a non-league game on Monday, March 31. South Effingham will play a Bobcats team coming off a 12-6 league loss to A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-6.
