The Northwest Christian Crusaders (Phoenix, AZ) baseball trounced the host Payson Longhorns (Payson, AZ), 8-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Crusaders now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Benjamin Franklin for a challenge on Tuesday, April 8.

With the defeat, Payson drops to 3-3 on the year. The Longhorns travel to Mogollon (Heber, AZ) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 29. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Mogollon won 6-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Alchesay (Whiteriver, AZ)
