The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA) and the visiting Salinas Cowboys (Salinas, CA), saw Palma's baseball team get by Salinas by a tally of 4-3.

The Chieftains (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Scotts Valley (Scotts Valley, CA). The Falcons enter the non-league battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Scotts Valley held off Harbor (Santa Cruz, CA), 10-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Cowboys face the Carmel Padres (Carmel, CA) in a battle, on Tuesday, April 8. Salinas will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record.
