The Sumter Gamecocks soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Ridge View Blazers to 1 in the Gamecocks league victory on Thursday.

The Gamecocks now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Westwood for a AAAAA Region 5 bout on Tuesday, April 1. Sumter will play a Redhawks squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to West Florence (Florence, SC). The Redhawks record now stands at 1-15.
