Bishop Amat Lancers (La Puente, CA) supporters went home thrilled Friday as they witnessed their baseball team beat the host St. Bernard Vikings (Playa del Rey, CA), 3-0 in a league test.

The Lancers now hold a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to De La Salle for a non-league outing on Monday, March 30. Bishop Amat will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 10-1 non-league win over Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 5-3.

The Vikings (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against University City (San Diego, CA). The Centurions come into the non-league outing with a 5-6 record. In their last test, University City nudged Valhalla (El Cajon, CA), 7-2, in a non-league test.
