The Mexico Bulldogs routed the visiting Eldon Mustangs baseball team by a count of 11-1 in Friday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southern Boone for a Class 4 District 8 test on Saturday, March 28. Mexico will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 18-3 non-league win over Macon (Macon, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.

The Mustangs (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Fulton (Fulton, MO). The Hornets enter the non-league bout with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Fulton was overwhelmed by Fatima (Westphalia, MO), 11-0, in a non-league challenge.
