The Fabens Wildcats baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Mountain View Lobos to 2 in the Wildcats league win on Friday.

The Wildcats now hold a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clint for a 4A Region I District 2 test on Tuesday, March 31. Fabens will play a Lions team coming off a 13-0 league win over San Elizario (San Elizario, TX). The Lions record now stands at 9-10.

With the defeat, Mountain View drops to 7-10 on the year. The Lobos travel to San Elizario (San Elizario, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a 4A Region I District 2 test on Tuesday, March 31. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 3-13. San Elizario lost 13-0 in their recent league test against Clint (Clint, TX)
