In Friday's league bout, the Leland Chargers (San Jose, CA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA), by a tally of 11-3.

Next up, the Chargers encounter the Monta Vista Matadors (Cupertino, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 28. Leland will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Matadors go into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 9-5 league win over Cupertino (Cupertino, CA).
