Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights (Wheeling, WV) fans left the game happy Friday as they observed their lacrosse squad top the host Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), 21-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Maroon Knights (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV). The Monarchs go into the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record.

Next, the Knights clash with the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 1. Preston will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Polar Bears go into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 9-8 non-league win over The Linsly School (Wheeling, WV).
