The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs (Washington, UT) and the visiting Hurricane Tigers (Hurricane, UT), saw Crimson Cliffs's softball squad nip Hurricane by a score of 8-6.

With the triumph, Crimson Cliffs improves its record to 9-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Desert Hills (St. George, UT) to face the Thunder in a 4A Region 9 contest on Tuesday, March 31. The Thunder enter the contest with a record of 13-2. Desert Hills won 9-1 in their recent league contest against Dixie (St. George, UT)

The Tigers now possess a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they host Snow Canyon for a 4A Region 9 bout on Tuesday, March 31. Hurricane will battle a Warriors team coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Box Elder (Brigham City, UT). The Warriors record now stands at 2-14.
