The McMichael Phoenix softball team scored 24 runs and held the visiting Reidsville Rams to 6 in the Phoenix league win on Friday.

The Phoenix now sport a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockingham County for a Mid-State 3A/4A/5A battle on Wednesday, April 1.

With the loss, Reidsville moves to 0-5 on the season. The Rams travel to Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC) to confront the Grizzlies in a non-league battle on Monday, March 30. The Grizzlies come into the battle with a record of 10-0. Clover Garden School won 15-0 in their recent league test against Central Carolina Academy (Sanford, NC)
