Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV), 11-4 in a league test.

With the win, Hoover upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Huskies host Roane County (Spencer, WV) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league game on Saturday, April 1. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 0-2. Roane County lost 6-0 in their recent league game against Doddridge County (West Union, WV)

The Wildcats (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Riverside (Belle, WV). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Riverside was overwhelmed by Spring Valley (Huntington, WV), 17-0, in a league game.
