Virginia High School Baseball - Massaponax loses to Riverbend
March 28, 2023: Spotsylvania, VA 22407 The Riverbend Bears crushed the host Massaponax Panthers baseball team by a count of 17-1 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Bears now possess a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Brooke Point for a Commonwealth bout on Wednesday, March 29. Riverbend will face a Black Hawks team coming off a 13-5 league win over Stafford (Falmouth, VA). The Black Hawks record now stands at 2-1.
Next, the Panthers face the Brooke Point Black Hawks (Stafford, VA) in a Commonwealth bout, on Friday, March 31. Massaponax will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Black Hawks enter the bout with a 2-2 record after their 8-1 league loss to Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA).
