In Tuesday's league game, the host Western Reserve Blue Devils baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Mineral Ridge Rams.

The Blue Devils (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH). The Bluejays go into the Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet game with a 1-1 record.

The Rams (0-2) will now prepare for their game against McKinley (Niles, OH). The Red Dragons go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, McKinley was edged by Girard (Girard, OH), 8-2, in a league game.
