March 28, 2023: Columbia, SC 29212 The Irmo Yellowjackets smashed the visiting Westwood Redhawks soccer squad by a margin of 10-1 in Tuesday's league match.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Lugoff-Elgin for a AAAA Region 5 match on Thursday, March 30. Irmo will encounter a Demons squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC). The Demons record now stands at 8-6.
With the loss, Westwood drops to 0-8 on the season. The Redhawks travel to Richland Northeast (Columbia, SC) to encounter the Cavaliers in a AAAA Region 5 match on Thursday, March 30.
