Texas High School Softball - Seguin gets by Boerne-Champion
March 28, 2023: Boerne, TX 78006 The Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX) softball nipped the host Boerne-Champion Chargers (Boerne, TX), 8-7 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Matadors (19-8) will now prepare for their bout against Pieper (San Antonio, TX). The Warriors go into the 5A Region IV District 26 bout with a 11-15 record. In their last bout, Pieper was edged by Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX), 10-1, in a league bout.
The Chargers now possess a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Wagner for a 5A Region IV District 26 bout on Friday, March 31. Boerne-Champion will confront a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 17-0 league loss to Canyon (New Braunfels, TX). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 3-18.
