March 28, 2023: Lubbock, TX 79423 The Wylie Bulldogs (Abilene, TX) softball routed the host Cooper Pirates (Lubbock, TX), 10-1 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Bulldogs (21-5) will now prepare for their bout against Abilene (Abilene, TX). The Eagles go into the 5A Region I District 4 bout with a 20-4 record. In their last bout, Abilene toppled Cooper (Lubbock, TX), 10-0, in a league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Monterey for a 5A Region I District 4 bout on Tuesday, April 4. Cooper will confront a Plainsmen squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Amarillo (Amarillo, TX). The Plainsmen record now stands at 20-4.
