Ball Tornadoes (Galveston, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting La Porte Bulldogs (La Porte, TX), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Ball upgrades its record to 11-10 on the season. The Tornadoes host Lutheran South Academy (Houston, TX) to battle the Pioneers in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 3. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 11-4.

With the defeat, La Porte falls to 17-8 on the season. The Bulldogs host Angleton (Angleton, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a 5A Region III District 18 test on Tuesday, April 2.
