The Hickory Red Tornadoes baseball team (Hickory, NC), was overwhelmed 15-1 in Thursday's league outing with the host East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC)

The Mustangs now hold a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison Southern for a non-league outing on Thursday, April 4.

Next, the Red Tornadoes confront the Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 1. Hickory will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 9-3 record after their 5-4 league loss to North Iredell (Olin, NC).
