March 28, 2024: Conway, AR 72034 The Conway Wampus Cats softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Greenbrier Panthers to 0 in the Wampus Cats non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Conway improves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Wampus Cats travel to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR) to clash with the Hurricane in a 6A Central game on Friday, March 29. The Hurricane come into the game with a record of 0-6. Jonesboro lost 18-1 in their recent non-league game against Batesville (Batesville, AR)
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Siloam Springs Panthers (Siloam Springs, AR) in a 5A West game, on Tuesday, April 2. Greenbrier will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record.
